Gyess was born in "Iz Klovi" kennel in Moscow, where Andrei found him after visiting many kennels and Dog Shows on his trip to Russia in 2003 searching for a new stud dog for our breeding program. Gyess was the one to bring home: perfect conformation, excellent breeding and unmistakable presence of an authentic Central Asian Mastiff he is destined to make solid contribution to the breed in Australia.
Gyess made a long trip from Russia to Australia, stopping for 7 months' quarantine in The Netherlands. He was admired by everyone involved in this project including the transport companies and quarantine staff for his outgoing personality and gracious manners, which certainly helped to make the journey less traumatic for him.
He is now fully enjoying life on the farm and has proved himself the sire of very promising offspring.
